Montpelier’s Fall Fiber Festival

Being the unusual man that he is, my dad decided that attending the Fall Fiber Festival in Montpelier was a must. This is very strange for several reasons: 1) my dad does not love spending much time with extra people  2) it is a festival which will probably include lines of people and overpriced items  3) since when does my dad go festival hunting??

After further explanation from Dad, the festival did, infact, sound pretty fantastic. The festival included sheep herding trials, a sheep shearing demonstration, tons of homespun sheep wool, and yummy food. It was fantastic! The sheep dogs guided three sheep through the course by listening to the owner’s whistles and commands. These dogs were amazing. Nothing short of amazing.
